The land for the present day church and hall was acquired in 1880 with work on the hall and church taking place between 1880 and 1889. The church has a varied history which was summarised in the centenary booklet, 'Our Lady of Good Counsel 1888- 1988' which is now available as a pdf download. Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council are members of our community whose purpose is the development of the church and to help the Parish Priest with new ideas and to aid all parishioners in the understanding of our faith.
